Week 49 Highlights

Last week’s eBay auction ending December 10 had several collectibles of note. A rare 1996 Bandai/Apple Pippin@WORLD North America Atmark black keyboard sold for $222 after nine bids. A rare 1972 Diabolik Il Giallo A Fumetti Annon XI number 17 Passato Italian comic with charm fetched $320 after only three bids. Lastly, a 1991 Bela Lugosi Dracula resign model kit from U W Janus Company ended at $355 after an impressive 39 bids.

Week 49

Diamond International Galleries (DIG) continues to offer a diverse selection of pop culture and vintage collectibles in their weekly eBay auction ending Sunday, December 10. Vintage items range from a 1912 Woodrow Wilson for President portrait campaign pin-back to a 1954 Tip Top Comics #186 Tarzan Burn Hogarth printing plate. Modern collectibles range from the rare 1996 Bandai/Apple Pippin @World North America Amtrack black keyboard to this week’s stand-out 1999 Bela Lugosi Dracula resign model kit from U W Janus Company.

Week 48 Highlights

Last week’s eBay auction ending December 3 had two vintage collectibles of note. The first is a 1932 Republican National Convention GOP wooden elephant figurine that sold for $190 after 15 bids and the second was a 1948 Ideal Roy Rogers Fix-It Chuck Wagon and Jeep in original packaging which ended at $248 after 28 bids. There were also two store items of note sold during this auction, Li’l Abner daily comic strip original art by Al Cap June 13 and June 15, 1942 for $250 each.

Week 49 Preview

Next week’s auction will be available for bidding from December 3 to December 10. Vintage collectibles headed to auction include a rare 1930 Fu Manchu Mysteries Radio Show Letter and a 1958 Lowell Bat Masterson Western board game starring Gene Barry. Modern collectibles featured next week will be a 1995 Bandai Japanese Playdia game Sailor Moon SuperS to Hiragana Lesson and weapon accessory and a 1992 Datcha Joint Rom System barcode accessory with Dragon Ball Z game. This week’s auction features western collectibles 1940s Tom Mix Comics Book 4 by Ralston Straight Shooters and 1948 Ideal Roy Rogers Fix-It Chuck Wagon and Jeep with original packaging. Also featured this week are Japanese collectibles such as 1989 Battle Ace PC Engine NEC Supergrafx HuCard Game and 1996 Bandai/Apple complete Pippin Atmark Japanese Game Console in original packaging.

Last week’s eBay auction ending November 19, had one big sale of note. A 1994 Commodore Amiga CD32 video game console with control and original packaging sold for $252 after nine bids.

A lot of 27 1920s black and white pin-up girl cards sold for $125 after 10 bids, a 1991 Tint Zoids Z-Knight Z Knight Z A03 Type-K motorized model kit fetched $127 after 29 bids, and a Sega Genesis NOMAD game console system ended at $175 after 19 bids.

Week 43 Highlights

Several vintage concert posters topped last week’s auction ending October 29. A first print 1969 The Rolling Stones in Concert poster by David Byrd sold for $243 after 13 bids and a first print 1968 The Northern California Folk-Rock Festival concert poster featuring the Doors, Animals, Big Brother and more, ended at $310 after 15 bids.

Week 41

Collectors can expect to see a second wave of vintage 1980s Japanese robots and vehicles in Diamond International Galleries weekly ebay auction ending October 20, along with the diverse selection of pop culture and vintage collectibles that includes vintage Disney Sheet Music and books, as well as Golden Age and Silver Age comic books.

Next week the auction will be available for bidding from October 15 through October 22 and will feature a selection of vintage Walt Disney collectibles including a 1933 Mickey Mouse in King Arthur’s Court pop-up book, a 1934 Mickey Mouse three ring binder, and an unused 1936 Mickey Mouse Flexible Flyer Sled decal

 

Other collectibles range from the first appearance of Man-Wolf in Marvel Comics The Amazing Spider-man #124, Nomura Toys 1975 Space Battleship Yamato Analyzer die-cast model, and Richard Simmons 1998 autographed Sergeant Preston of the Yukon poster.

Week 38 Highlights

Vintage retailer catalogs by Kenner topped last week’s auction ending September 24. The Winners Keep Coming from Kenner Prepack Program from 1984 sold for $371 after 12 bids and the Go for the Gold… Kenner The Winnerin ’85 catalog sold for $479 after 17 bids. There was also a buy it now style listing of note: a vintage 1950s complete set of 32 Hopalong Cassidy bread labels sold for $200.
