Week 18 Preview

Among the hundreds of listings is a 1930s Ohio Art Walt Disney Entertainment Mickey Mouse tin-litho wash tub with washboard, a 1942 Law and Order Gang Busters one sheet movie poster featuring Kent Taylor, and a Judge Dread Judge Mortis 1/12th scale action figure.

Week 16 Highlights

There were several collectibles that stood out during last week’s auction ending Sunday, April 23. A vintage 1955 Sears Christmas Book sold for $153 after 22 bids, a 1938 Walt Disney Enterprises Dopey tin-litho night light sold for $165 after 25 bids, and a 1967 original political art by Hugh Hutton Reflex Action to Any Good Idea sold for $213 after two bids.

Vintage collectibles currently available for bidding include a 1930s Walt Disney Elmer Elephant bisque bank, a 1938 Walt Disney Enterprises Dopey Tin-Litho night light, and a 1955 EC Incredible Science Fiction #30 graded and slabbed by CBCS at a 7.0 FN/VF. Modern collectibles include a 1990 Mickey Mouse wrist watch by Pulsar, a Batman the Animated Series Joker PVC figure, and a Star Trek cartoon framed gold record sericel and hologram card.

There were several collectibles that stood out during last week’s auction ending Sunday, April 16. A vintage 1939 Walt Disney Donald Duck tin-litho Dime Register Bank sold for $270 after 22 bids, a lot of 8 vintage black and white promotional photos featuring Roy Rogers, Dale Evans and more ended at $406 after nine bids, and a 1996 complete Marvel Masterpieces trading card series five base set by Skybox fetched $510 after 43 bids. A notable by-it-now style listing that sold during last week was a 1940s framed Frank Frazetta original sketch, which was purchased for $1,200.

Vintage items available currently for bidding include a 1936 Walt Disney Enterprises Mickey Mouse battery operated flashlight, a 1938 Ferdinand The Bull figurine by Brayton Laguna, and a 1966 Jefferson Airplane Avalon Ballroom poster FD-17. Modern collectibles featured are a 1996 complete Series Five base set of Marvel Masterpieces trading cards by Skybox and a 1996 limited-edition Pioneers of Animation Hanna-Barbera Jonny Quest Fossil Watch.

Marvel Comics 1991 New Mutants #98, graded and slabbed by CGC at an 8.5 VF+, featuring the first appearance of Deadpool, sold for $202 after 27 bids. Vintage 1930s matted original political cartoon by Hugh Hutton ended at $269 after 11 bids. A lot of 10 black and white promotional photographs featuring Roy Rogers, Dale Evans, and more, fetched and impressive $1,400 after 41 bids.

There is also a selection of certified grade comics including DC Comics 1941 Flash Comics #19 graded and slabbed by CBCS at a 2.5 GD+.
