Week 31 Preview

Last week’s auction ending Sunday, July 25, had two popular vintage collectibles. A 1985 Tony Urbano McDonalds Puppeteer Chicken McNugget foam figure sold for $289 after 10 bids and a 1930s Popeye straw and cloth doll fetched $317.

Last week’s auction ending Sunday, July 16, had several successful items. A rare 1972 popular single night fundraising McGovern concert pinback fetched $137 after 21 bids and original political art All I said to Him Was--! by Karl Kae Knecht sold for $178 after nine bids. There was also a buy it now style listing of note, a vintage Mike Hinge 3rd Avenue Delivery Service multimedia illustration sold for $275.

Collectibles available for bidding in next week’s auction range from a 1920s Disney Enterprises Mickey Mouse and Friends bed skirt to a 1970s The Monkees Mike Nesmith Finger Ding Doll by Remco. Last week’s auction ending Sunday, July 9, had several successful items.  A set of two vintage 1952 Womanpower for Eisenhower pinback buttons sold for $136 after 15 bids, a 1974 vintage Rick Griffin Man Slow Motion signed album cover proof fetched $144 after 10 bids, and six 1964 Goldwater political campaign buttons sold for $147 after an impressive 16 bids. There was also one buy-it-now style listing of note, a DC Variant Play Arts KAI Batman Rogues Gallery Mr. Freeze action figure by Square Enix, which sold for $180.

Finle baseball fetched $111 after 4 bids and a vintage 1935 Hopalong Cassidy Enters theatrical one sheet poster ended at $89 after twelve bids.
