Week 40 Preview

Next week’s auction will be available for bidding from October 1-8 and it features the ranges and variety of collectibles you can expect from DIG. Original 1930s political art by Joseph Foshko for the Yiddish Daily will be joined by 1977 Marvel Comics Ms. Marvel #1 and a 1986 Centurions PowerXTreme retailer promotional fold-out catalog.

Week 39

Diamond International Galleries (DIG) continues to offer a diverse selection of pop culture and vintage collectibles in their weekly eBay auction ending Sunday, October 1, 2017. Some examples of the variety of collectibles in this auction is a 1936 promotional sign for Mickey MouseDrinking Glass Whipped Cream Cottage Cheese, a 1968 anti-George Wallace Vote For Rosemary’s Baby poster, and 1974 Marvel Comics Werewolf by Night #20 original page art by Don Perlin.

 

Week 38 Highlights

Vintage retailer catalogs by Kenner topped last week’s auction ending September 24. The Winners Keep Coming from Kenner Prepack Program from 1984 sold for $371 after 12 bids and the Go for the Gold… Kenner The Winnerin ’85 catalog sold for $479 after 17 bids. There was also a buy it now style listing of note: a vintage 1950s complete set of 32 Hopalong Cassidy bread labels sold for $200.

Week 38 Preview

Next week’s auction will be available for bidding from September 17 to 24. The Goldbergs Gertrude Berg autographed photo and letter to Virginia Brown will head to auction along with a 1950s Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Club member tin-litho tab, a 1956 FOR ALL OF YOU Adlai Stevenson poster, and a Kenner Go for the Gold retailer toy catalog.

Week 37

Diamond International Galleries (DIG) continues to offer a diverse selection of pop culture and vintage collectibles in their weekly eBay auction ending Sunday, September 17. Vintage collectibles include 1930s Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Montgomery Fair Company red and blue hat pins and a Cherrios premium Lone Ranger Frontier Town northeast map. Political memorabilia includes a 1920s Theodore Roosevelt memorial bronzed iron plaque by John Fraser and lots of 12 1980s Ronald Reagan and Anti-Ronald Reagan pinback buttons.

Week 36 Highlights

Vintage political memorabilia had some company at the top of last week’s eBay auction ending September 10. Political memorabilia included a lot of 11 1904 Alton Parker Jugate pinback buttons sold for $214 after 28 bids and a 1913 scarce antique For President Woodrow Wilson pinback got $227 after 20 bids.  Other collectibles were a 1952 Roy Rogers Post Cereals store display standee fetched $280 after 25 bids and a 1972 Marvel Comics Werewolf by Night #28 original page art by Don Perlin ended at an impressive $367 after 23 bids.

Week 37 Preview

Next week’s auction will be available for bidding from September 10 to September 17 and will include a 1920s Theodore Roosevelt bronze plaque, a set of two 1950s Disney’s Donald Duck bread wrappers, 1960s original political cartoon by Jack Knox I Hunt the Highways, a CGC slabbed and graded The Doors Avalon Ballroom poster, and a group of twelve 1980s anti-Reagan campaign buttons.

Week 36

Vintage political memorabilia includes a set of four 1904 President Theodore Roosevelt campaign buttons, eleven 1904 Alton Parker Jugate buttons, and a 1940 Willkie McNary and Chemurgy button. Other collectibles featured this week are  1948-1955 Howdy Doody tv show puppet and props expense records, a 1952 Roy Rogers Post Cereals store display standee, and a 1972 Marvel Comics Werewolf by Night #28 original art page by Don Perlin.

 

Week 35 Highlights

Vintage political memorabilia dominated last week’s eBay auction ending September 3, for the second week in a row. A 1990 William McKinley and Theodore Roosevelt Jugate ribbon sold for $230 after 20 bids and a set of six 1928 Democratic Candidate Al Smith buttons sold for $355 after 41 bids.
