Next week’s auction will be available for bidding from September 17 to 24. The Goldbergs Gertrude Berg autographed photo and letter to Virginia Brown will head to auction along with a 1950s Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Club member tin-litho tab, a 1956 FOR ALL OF YOU Adlai Stevenson poster, and a Kenner Go for the Gold retailer toy catalog.

Week 37

Diamond International Galleries (DIG) continues to offer a diverse selection of pop culture and vintage collectibles in their weekly eBay auction ending Sunday, September 17. Vintage collectibles include 1930s Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Montgomery Fair Company red and blue hat pins and a Cherrios premium Lone Ranger Frontier Town northeast map. Political memorabilia includes a 1920s Theodore Roosevelt memorial bronzed iron plaque by John Fraser and lots of 12 1980s Ronald Reagan and Anti-Ronald Reagan pinback buttons.

Week 36 Highlights

Vintage political memorabilia had some company at the top of last week’s eBay auction ending September 10. Political memorabilia included a lot of 11 1904 Alton Parker Jugate pinback buttons sold for $214 after 28 bids and a 1913 scarce antique For President Woodrow Wilson pinback got $227 after 20 bids.  Other collectibles were a 1952 Roy Rogers Post Cereals store display standee fetched $280 after 25 bids and a 1972 Marvel Comics Werewolf by Night #28 original page art by Don Perlin ended at an impressive $367 after 23 bids.

Week 37 Preview

Next week’s auction will be available for bidding from September 10 to September 17 and will include a 1920s Theodore Roosevelt bronze plaque, a set of two 1950s Disney’s Donald Duck bread wrappers, 1960s original political cartoon by Jack Knox I Hunt the Highways, a CGC slabbed and graded The Doors Avalon Ballroom poster, and a group of twelve 1980s anti-Reagan campaign buttons.

Vintage political memorabilia includes a set of four 1904 President Theodore Roosevelt campaign buttons, eleven 1904 Alton Parker Jugate buttons, and a 1940 Willkie McNary and Chemurgy button. Other collectibles featured this week are  1948-1955 Howdy Doody tv show puppet and props expense records, a 1952 Roy Rogers Post Cereals store display standee, and a 1972 Marvel Comics Werewolf by Night #28 original art page by Don Perlin.

 

Week 35 Highlights

Vintage political memorabilia dominated last week’s eBay auction ending September 3, for the second week in a row. A 1990 William McKinley and Theodore Roosevelt Jugate ribbon sold for $230 after 20 bids and a set of six 1928 Democratic Candidate Al Smith buttons sold for $355 after 41 bids.

Next week’s auction will be available for bidding from September 3 to September 10. Expect more political memorabilia and collectibles such as a 1840s Henry Clay portrait chalkware bowl pipe, a 1952 Roy Rogers Riders Club Post Cereals premium Membership Kit, and a 1984 Mondale-Ferraro Vote Democratic Jugate pinback.

Political memorabilia currently available for bidding includes a 1900s William MiKinley Theodore Roosevelt Jugate photo ribbon, a set of four 1924 Calvin Coolidge and Charles Dawes Jugate photo buttons, and a 1964 Lyndon B. Johnson “LBJ/HHH” Labor Jugate button. Other collectibles include a 1938 The Lone Ranger Safety Club Bond Bread star badge, a first print 1970 California World Music Festival Handbill, and a 1996 Pioneers of Animation Hanna-Barbera The Flintstones limited edition Fossil Watch.

 

Week 33 Highlights

Vintage political memorabilia dominated last week’s eBay auction ending August 27, including a pair of William Howard Taft stars and stripes pinbacks sold for $152 after 16 bids and a William Howard Taft American Savings Bank and Trust Company pinback sold for $168 after 12 bids. Another vintage collectible of note was a 1960s Brazilian Carrossel Sao Luiz Biscoitos metal lunchbox sold for $154 after 11 bids.

Week 34 Preview

Next week’s auction, available for bidding from August 20 to August 27, will feature 15 German Bunten Filmbilder cigarette cards by Salem Zigaretten, a 1967 hardcover How to Dress for Success book signed by Edith Head for Phyllis Diller, a 1983 Colorforms Rainbow Brite Shrinky Dinks Collector Set, and original political art Today’s Thorns by Charles Werner

Vintage items currently at auction include a 1900s Taft/Brayn Freihofer Bread white house puzzle postcard, a 1940s Blue Coal/The Shadow Pixmix puzzle NBC Radio premium, and a 1956 Dwight D. Eisenhower “I like Ike” nine-inch campaign button. Modern collectibles include a 2012 Dynamite Entertainment Vampirella Statue by Adam Hughes, a 2013 Medicom Frankenweenie Victor vinyl collector doll, and a 2015 Jurassic World Mososaurus vs. Submarine action figure set by Hasbro.

Week 32 Highlights

Last week’s auction ending Sunday, August 13 had several stand out items, including two buy-it-now style listings. A limited edition 16 inch Catwoman Tonner doll sold for $150 and a set of 59 issues of Batman: Gotham Adventures by DC Comics sold for $175. At auction, a 1946 The Falcon Alibi one sheet theatrical poster sold for $125 after 7 bids.

 

 

Week 33 Preview

Next week’s auction will feature a set of unopened 1950s Lantoy plastic spacemen and cap rocket toys, bottle openers from the 1970s, a set of 1980s Jimmy Carter Save Gas/Drive a Peanut pinbacks, and hundreds of more collectibles like these will all be for bidding from August 13 to August 20.

Week 32

You will find a diverse selection of pop culture and vintage collectibles in our weekly eBay auction ending Sunday, August 13. Collectibles currently at auction include 1930s Seckratary Hawkins: The Ghost of Lake Tapaho paperback book, golden age comics Felix the Cat by Dell, a 1970s MLB Orioles Brooke Robinson The Golden Glove ceramic statue, and 1980s one sheet theatrical poster from the film 9 to 5 featuring Jane Fonda, Dolly Parton and Lily Tomlin.

Week 31 Highlights

Last week’s auction ending Sunday, August 6, had several very successful items, including a lot of three Street & Smith Publications Super Magician Comics, which sold for $102 after nine bids. As usual, original artwork did well, as a 1990s horror illustration by John Dixon fetched $130 after an impressive 22 bids and vintage Popeye the Sailor Man original pin-up art was purchased for $300 in a buy-it-now style listing. 

 

Week 32 Preview

Next week’s auction, running from August 6 to August 13, will feature vintage items ranging from entertainment memorabilia such as 1940s radio premiums from One Man’s Family and Happy Gang to a 1960s Liberace concert poster. There will also be political items such as original artwork by Richard Hodgins Sr. Just A Lot of Hot Air and a set of six 1992 Bill Clinton campaign pinback buttons. Even more Golden Age comic books will also be available along with hundreds of other collectibles. 

Week 31

We continue to offer a diverse selection of pop culture and vintage collectibles in our weekly eBay auction ending Sunday, August 6. Political collectibles include a 1930s President Herbert Hoover pillow and blue fabric banner and a 1940s Franklin D. Roosevelt plaster portrait plaque. There is a selection of golden age comic books ranging from a Street and Smith Bill Barnes, America’s Air Ace #9 to a set of two Fiction House Jungle Comics #76 and #81. Other collectibles offered this week are a 1950s Esquire Shoe Polish with Planters Mr. Peanut toy prize and SDCC 2017 Star Wars Destiny Luke and Darth Vader McQuarrie promotional exclusives.

Week 30 Highlights

Last week’s auction ending Sunday, July 30 had some successful buy-it-now style purchases, including a D23 Disney Store Exclusive Fairytale Series Pinocchio and the Blue Fairy doll set that sold for $250. The most successful auction was a 1960s Jack Knox original political artwork Somebody Doesn’t Like Us, which brought in $202 after only three bids.

As this auction ends, the next auction will become available for bidding during its week-long run from July 30 to August 6. A rare 1972 popular single night fundraising McGovern concert pinback fetched $137 after 21 bids and original political art All I said to Him Was--! by Karl Kae Knecht sold for $178 after nine bids. There was also a buy it now style listing of note, a vintage Mike Hinge 3rd Avenue Delivery Service multimedia illustration sold for $275.

Week 29 Preview

As this auction ends, the next auction will become available for bidding during its week-long run from July 16 to 23.
