Last week’s auction ending July 31had several very popular items. Popular vintage items included a 1930s tin litho spinning mechanical toy featuring the likeness of Charley Chaplin sold for $164 after 19 bids, a rare 1948 Mickey Mouse Luminous Birthday Series watch with pen by Ingersoll sold for $198 after 21 bids and a 1974 Post Fruity Pebbles cereal box featuring prehistoric animal cut-outs ended at $273.89. Modern collectibles that ended in their last auction include a CBCS graded and slabbed Diamond Retailer Summit variant copy of Saga #19 which fetched $256 after only 8 bids and a 2007 Marvel Comics limited edition Sinister Six Electro statue sold for $435 after 38 bids.
